"RING OF GULLION" COACH TOUR

(Half-day Tour)

Join us as we take you on a tour of this historical and beautiful part of Ireland.  On route we will visit the Model Village of Bessbrook, the crooked lake of Camlough and admire the beauty of the rolling hills around Forkhill and Mullaghbawn .

We will stop off to explore Ireland's earliest dated cross carved Kilnasaggart stone; step into the "Gap of the North" as we visit the ruins of the 17th C tower of Moyry Castle and uncover the ancient folklore of the area in the stones at Ballykeel Portal Tomb. 

No tour would be complete without a visit to a graveyard and a tour around Creggan Churchyard will reveal the colourful past of the area's renowned 18thC poets, the historical O'Neill Vault and the  Johnston's of the Fews.

Hospitality is very important in South Armagh and the tour stop off for refreshments at the newly built Cross Hotel in Crossmaglen before travelling home.

THIS COACH TOUR IS SUITABLE FOR GROUPS INTERESTED IN VISITING HISTORICAL OUTDOOR SITES.  THIS TOUR CAN BE EXTENDED TO A FULL DAY AS THERE ARE MANY MORE INTERESTING SITES TO VISIT WITHIN THIS AREA.
