ANNUAL MAY APPLE BLOSSOM COACH TOUR

AFTERNOON COACH TOUR AROUND THE APPLE BLOSSOM OF COUNTY ARMAGH

This  guided tour is one of the "public" tours which we run annually in early May.

It is a very popular afternoon coach tour around the  blossom of the Orchards of Ireland in County Armagh with an enjoyable stop off for tea/coffee, home made apple tart with fresh cream at Dan Winter's thatched cottage. This cottage is located on the heritage site of the famous "Battle of the Diamond 1975"   in heart of the apple blossom.

Hilda Winters will give a tour of the cottage which was once her family home. A range of local apple produce will also be on sale should you wish to bring a little bit of Co Armagh back home!

With local guide Barbara on board you will not only enjoy the beauty but also appreciate the work of the farmer in producing a healthy harvest of apples.  A guided tour through the pretty villages of Loughgall and Richhill will reveal the historical past of this now tranquil part of County Armagh . Barbara's knowledge of the apple industry goes way back to her childhood when she would take the short cut from school through the family orchard in search of the ealry eating apple "the kemp"!

Tour costs £18pp (including  apple juice, tea/coffee, apple tart & fresh cream & tour of cottage)

BOOKING ESSENTIAL - Demand for seats on this relaxing and enjoyable tour is always high so book early to avoid disappointment by contacting Barbara as listed below.
