The Background of Armagh Guided Tours
Hello and welcome to Armagh Guided Tours. My name is Barbara Ferguson born and bred
in County Armagh. Living in historical County Armagh with its amazing Cathedral City and
strong cultural links with Saint Patrick I recognised that the North of the Island of Ireland was
a hidden treasure that I wished to share with visitors from all over the world.
Armagh Guided Tours was set up in 2000 organising and guiding tours
through the County of Armagh and Armagh City and due to demand tours
are now running all around the North of Ireland and its Border Regions.
The business has expanded extensively and there are now four local guides
involved in planning and running bespoke tours.
From left to right we have Maria who is a Belfast City girl and has a strong interest in ancient celtic sites.
In the middle we have Geraldine who is French girl married to an Irish man. Geraldine is extremely interested in the
European links with early Ireland and obviously her knowledge of the French language proves very useful.
On the extreme right we have the baby of the pack Louise. Louise likes lots of retail therapy, enjoys good food and speaks fluent spanish.
What do we offer?
We design and guide specialist group coach tours and walking tours.
We plan and provide that personal family car tour.

Aims
We aim to create a memorable holiday for visitors to historical and beautiful parts of the North of Ireland.
Local experienced guides with local dialects, stories and humour give the tourist the warmest welcome possible.
